Earlier this month, TGI Fridays opened a reimaged restaurant in Corpus Christi, Texas, that made key changes to the casual-dining brand’s offerings, hours and identity.
The remodeled restaurant, covering about 10,000 square feet, is in an area that skews high in Millennial customers — more than 50 percent vs. about 45 percent systemwide. Amenities at the new restaurant include robust Wi-Fi, mobile and reservations technology, multi-bar areas, expanded operating hours, grab-and-go offerings and a new area called Fridays Offsite to appeal to the coffeeshop crowd.
Dallas-based TGI Fridays has 490 domestic restaurants and 416 international locations.
Above, the entrance to the restaurant has been refreshed and the patio area to the left has been expanded.

Pre-packaged foods and beverages are offered in a grab-and-go case.
Sandwiches, snacks (like jalapeno ranch gourmet popcorn) and sweets are offered for the Fridays Offsite and coffee/juice bar customers.
Blond woods and casual seating areas have been added to accommodate customers in the unit’s expanded dayparts. The restaurant has about 280 seats total.
The patio area has been expanded to take advantage of the long outdoor dining season in Corpus Christi, Texas.
