Chris Karssiens, Sr. VP of Hoshizaki America, Inc. announces new hires Bret Eldridge, Rod Johnson and Tyler Jones

Hoshizaki America is pleased to announce new hires – Bret Eldridge, director of national accounts, Rod Johnson, director of consultant services and Ty Jones, director of e-Commerce strategy. “Talent recruitment is a critical strategy for Hoshizaki sales growth,” stated Chris Karssiens, senior vice president of sales and marketing. “As we target specific segments, we want to expand Hoshizaki’s existing high performing sales team. Each of these gentlemen are top sales performers and their extensive industry knowledge will enable Hoshizaki to achieve significant revenue growth." 

Bret Eldridge - Director of National Accounts
Bret has held several regional and strategic account roles. Most recently he led Masterbilt’s very successful chain account efforts at Standex. Earlier in his career he spent many years in senior roles within different quick serve and family dining chain companies. Bret resides in McDonough, GA. with his wife Kim and three very active teenage children.

Rod Johnson - Director of Consultant Services
Rod Johnson has had a wonderful and very successful history working for food service manufactures, as an independent representative, and member of MAFSI. After selling his representative company to Acosta sales and marketing, he joined Masterbilt as their Regional Sales Manager for NE USA. His extensive and successful efforts to sell through specification both with independent foodservice kitchen consultants and by working directly with kitchen designers within “design-build” dealers were critical to his candidacy for this role. Rod lives in Brighton MI with his wife Jamie. They have four children, one fresh out of college two in college and one heading that direction soon!

Tyler Jones - Director of E-commerce Strategy
Ty Jones has had multiple careers paths as well! After completing 2 years of mission work in Brazil, Ty worked in the architectural woodwork industry both as a foreman and project manager. He later joined 3Form which manufactures sustainable building products as project manager. After the completion of his university work, he joined the Manitowoc team and performed various roles such as product manager. During his tenure at Manitowoc, he spent several years in the UK as director of field marketing for ice and beverage. Most recently he was the western sales director for an innovative bagged ice company called Kooler Ice. Kooler Ice is well on their way to disrupting that industry with a vending machine approach! Ty lives in the Salt Lake City area with his wife Michelle and four daughters all of whom are avid outdoor enthusiasts!
