Description: Smoked Gouda Stuffed Scrapple, breaded with RITZ crumbs and fried until golden and crispy served with a Sriracha maple syrup.
Servings: 1 (3 each)
INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 ounces scrapple (divided)
3 half-inch cubes of smoked Gouda
1/4 cup flour
1 egg (beaten)
1/2 cup RITZ crumbs
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon Sriracha
DIRECTIONS
Take a third of the scrapple and work with hands until pliable. Place a cube of cheese in the middle of it and form a ball. Work with hands (back and forth) rather than roll with hands to avoid crumbling.
Set up a standard breading procedure station. Dust with flour, then egg, then RITZ crumbs, then egg again and finally RITZ crumbs again.
Fry at 325-350 F for about 3 minutes. Mix Sriracha and syrup together. Serve with a side of the spicy syrup.
