Krystal names Casey Terrell CMO

New marketing executive joins from Focus Brands

Krystal on Tuesday announced it had named Casey Terrell chief marketing officer effective immediately.

Casey-Terrell-Krystal-CMO.jpgTerrell previously worked at Focus Brands as head of digital transformation, and has also worked in retail, tech and other industries, according to Krystal. Other restaurant companies he’s worked for include Le Pain Quotidien, Outback Steakhouse and Burger King.

The company said in a release that he was “a seasoned marketing professional with demonstrated experience in transforming B2C and B2B revenue along with visibility and operations for globally recognized brands across multiple sectors.”

Terrell will report to Krystal president Thomas Stager.

“We are thrilled to bring Casey on to our executive team,” Stager said. “His extensive marketing experience, focus on innovation, and ability to cultivate cross-functional collaborations will be vital as we continue our aggressive growth plans. Our company is continuing to evolve; we are actively adding new franchisees and opening new stores in new and existing markets.  It’s critical that we have a solid leadership team that can steer us into a future that best serves our customers, franchise partners, and overall enterprise.”

The company’s previous CMO, Alice Crowder, joined Krystal last year. The brand also added a CFO this January.

Quick-service restaurant company Krystal, based in Atlanta, has nearly 300 restaurants in 10 states.
