Restaurant industry veteran joins from Inspire Brands; previous CFO Louis Profumo retires

Church’s Texas Chicken on Monday announced that it had named Danton Nolan EVP, chief financial officer, effective immediately.

In the role, he will work with the corporate and brand finance teams to “deliver on strategic priorities” as Church’s looks to expand in 2023, the company said in a statement.

“In addition to his deep industry expertise, [Nolan] brings an operational focus and a firm understanding of where we’re going and how to get us there,” said Church’s CEO Joe Guith, who joined the company last August, in a statement. “I am eager to collaborate with [Nolan] as we take the brand into its next phase of growth.”

Nolan replaces Louis Profumo, who is retiring after 18 years at Church’s.

“I would also like to thank Louis ‘Dusty’ Profumo for his many years of dedicated service to the brand,” Guith added.

Church’s Texas Chicken and its sister brand Texas Chicken have more than 1,500 units in 26 countries.
