CEC names new Peter Piper executives

Pizza brand appoints president, marketing chief

CEC Entertainment Inc., parent the Chuck E. Cheese’s family entertainment chain, has named two new leaders for its Peter Piper Pizza brand, the company said Tuesday.

The Dallas-based company promoted Mahesh Sadarangani to the new position of president of Peter Piper Pizza, effective immediately. And in August, the company named Sherri Landry as chief marketing officer for the Peter Piper brand, succeeding Jason Greenwood, who left in January.

Sadarangani (left) joined CEC in August 2014 and most recently served as chief administration officer, leading strategy, revenue management, games, supply chain and warehouse functions. Prior to joining CEC, Sadarangani oversaw revenue management for Reddy Ice.

“Mahesh has made significant contributions to CEC during his tenure,” said Tom Leverton, CEC’s CEO, in a statement. “I am confident that his extensive business knowledge and insights make him a great steward to lead the Peter Piper brand.”

Sadarangani will oversee strategic business development and growth for Peter Piper.

As chief marketing officer, Landry (left) leads the brand strategy as well as creative development of advertising, digital, innovation and in-restaurant consumer experience. She most recently served as senior vice president and head of marketing at Dallas-based Which Wich Inc.

CEC Entertainment owns and franchises 605 Chuck E. Cheese’s units as well as 149 Peter Piper locations. It has venues in 47 states and 14 other countries and territories.
