Noodles presses health with new info campaign

BROOMFIELD Colo. Noodles & Co., the 150-unit fast-casual concept, has rolled out an in-store brochure and redesigned its website to help customers tailor their menu choices to specific diet needs.

The Your Guide to Good Balance brochure and supportive signage throughout the restaurants provide nutritional information and tips on what persons following specific diets can order. The information is also aimed at customers with food allergies.

Noodles' newly redesigned website has a section with detailed nutritional information and ingredients lists for menu items.

Two-thirds of Noodles' menu items have less than 500 calories and one-third have less than 10 grams of total fat.

Each dish can be ordered as a small, regular or TRIO - a small portion paired with a soup or salad with a protein, or a side salad, said executive chef Ross Kamens.

Through its own research, Noodles found that a significant segment of its customer base is looking for healthier alternatives, information and choices in regards to food and dining out, the company stated.
