Max & Erma’s revamps menu design to stress quality

COLUMBUS Ohio Casual-dining chain Max & Erma’s has introduced a new menu design and a supporting tagline, “A Better Place to Eat,” to emphasize menu quality and freshness.

The menu is circular and contains new food photography and descriptions that play up freshness and the amount of preparation that goes into items. The description for spicy-chicken tortilla soup, for example, says that “serving soup out of a can just isn’t our style.”

Square-shaped seasonal menus will be inserted into the core menu and contain photos of food preparation.

Max & Erma’s operates and franchises more than 100 restaurants.
