Togo’s senior vice presidents promoted to C-level

Susan Koch, Todd Peterson move up within executive team

Togo’s Eateries LLC has promoted two of its senior vice presidents to chief positions, the company said Tuesday.

Susan Koch, previously senior vice president of finance for the San Jose, Calif.-based sandwich chain, has been named chief financial officer.

Koch first started working with Togo’s in 1997 as regional finance manager at Allied Domecq Retailing USA, which purchased the sandwich chain that year. She was promoted to vice president of finance at Togo’s in 2011.

Todd Peterson, previously Togo’s senior vice president of franchise development, has been named chief development officer. Peterson has led Togo’s network of franchise operations since July 2009, the company said.

Both will continue to serve on the chain’s executive leadership team with chair and CEO Tony Gioia, chief marketing officer Renae Scott and chief operating officer Jim Peros.

Togo’s in December agreed to an acquisition by private-equity firm Nimes Capital.

“Susan and Todd have been outstanding leaders and game-changers for our company,” said Gioia in a statement. “In these new positions, they will help accelerate Togo’s growth, backed by the resources of Nimes Capital, our new financial partner. We’re excited to recognize their contributions to Togo’s success and employer them to take our franchise to the next level.”
