19 executives on the move in the restaurant industry in January

From chief marketing officers to presidents, here are the executives in the C-suite who changed positions last month

In January, the restaurant C-suite was filled with chief financial and chief marketing officers.

The biggest news was that Red Lobster added the role of chief marketing officer and hired former CKE marketing chief Patty Trevino, who will serve under the casual-dining brand’s CEO Kelli Valade, who was appointed last July.

Elsewhere, Yum Brands promoted Elias Oxendine to chief information security officer.

Also in the quick-service world, Papa Johns promoted Anne Fischer to chief marketing and digital officer.

Fast-casual chain BurgerFi, which recently acquired casual-dining chain Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings, added four new executives to the C-suite this month. Click through the gallery to find out who they were.

JAMCO Interests LLC named former TGI Fridays exec Sherif Mityas as president of BRIX Holdings.

Both City Barbeque and SushiSamba parent Orange Brands Management named new chief executives, with the latter naming co-CEOs.
