Taco Bell International president to retire next year

Melissa Lora to be succeed by CFO Liz Williams

Melissa Lora, president of Taco Bell International, will retire next summer, the brand announced Friday.

She will be succeeded by the brand’s chief financial officer, Liz Williams.

Lora joined Taco Bell in 1987 and has been in her current role since 2013, following Taco Bell’s takeover of international expansion from parent Yum! Brands Inc.

The quick-service brand also announced that Rahul Shinde will join as division chief financial officer. Shinde is coming from sister-brand KFC India.

Taco Bell has 7,000 domestic restaurants and more than 250 global locations.
