Atlanta-based quick-service restaurant chain Chick-fil-A is entering the world of robot deliveries. On Tuesday, Kiwibot announced a new partnership with the company to test semi-autonomous robotic delivery with four-wheeled rovers in select cities across Southern California.

McDonald’s Corp. is partnering with South Korean pop group BTS for its next Famous Orders Meal and widening it to a global marketing program, the company said Monday.

The Chicago-based burger brand, which teamed with artists Travis Scott in September and J Balvin in October, would launch the BTS Famous Orders Meal in the United States on May 26.

Quick-service workers continued Thursday to expand their protests of foodservice working conditions at Peet’s Coffee & Tea locations in the Chicago area.

“Over the last year of the pandemic, workers at the Downers Grove Peet’s Coffee have filed multiple public health complaints raising the alarm about unsafe workplace conditions that have left them vulnerable to COVID-19,” Fight for $15 representatives said. Among complaints were the lack of personal protective equipment and social distancing.
