Wingstop announced its second quarter results this week and the results were shocking. The wing restaurant, which saw record sales during the pandemic, was down 3.3% for the latest quarter. To offset those sales numbers, the chain is introducing a new chicken sandwich, entering the dreaded chicken sandwich wars…if a few years too late.
