The quick-service sandwich chain is responding to reported bread shortages in supermarkets by selling loaves of bread, called Freaky Fresh Bread on Demand, for around $2 each.
In response to shrinking demand at breakfast and growing demand at dinner, the quick-service burger chain has eliminated all-day breakfast, although it is still serving breakfast in the morning. McDonald’s indicated that it would be trimming other items to focus on its most popular foods, but has not yet provided details.

It’s a lighter item at 180 calories and has 19 grams of protein. It’s made with steak, baby broccoli, mushrooms, red peppers and onion stir-fried in black pepper sauce. A small serving starts at $5.35, a bowl is $7.45 and a plate is $8.65, though prices may vary by location. It is a permanent addition to the menu.
The smoothie chain is offering members of its loyalty program, Healthy Rewards, a free Immune Support Enhancer with each smoothie. Additionally, kids under 12 get a free 12-ounce smoothie when guests by any 20-ounce smoothie when using the Healthy Rewards app.
