IHOP is temporarily referring to itself as IHOb, a name change that left many on social media speculating on the meaning of the "b."

The family-dining chain recently revealed that the "b" stands for "burger."

Along with flipping its "p" to a "b," the operator has launched a new line of burgers — Ultimate Steakburgers — as a move to drive traffic in the lunch and dinner dayparts.
