Domino’s launches baby registry for expecting parents

Partnership with Guru Guru allows users to provide the gift of pizza

Domino’s Pizza must have had a productive honeymoon. The brand is launching a pizza-themed baby registry only nine months after introducing a similar wedding program.

On Wednesday, the company announced the rollout of dominosbabyregistry.com. Created in partnership with Guru Guru, the site allows expecting parents to request digital Domino’s gift cards.

Gift givers can also pay to cater events — such as a gender reveal party — with Domino’s products.

Meenakshi Nagarajan, director of digital marketing at the Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Domino’s, said the concept is geared toward simplifying the daily routine for expecting moms and dads during arguably the busiest time of their lives.

“There’s nothing more exciting — and exhausting — than welcoming a new member to the family,” said Nagarajan in a prepared statement.

Domino’s has more than 14,400 stores across more than 85 global markets.
