Freebies, discounts and charitable giving are on the menu for those with a valid military ID
Veterans Day on Nov. 11 is a holiday to honor all military veterans, and many use the occasion to also thank those who are actively serving. Restaurant operators are taking the time on Sunday, as well as the federal observance of the holiday on Nov. 12, to pay tribute to the nation’s service members with free menu items, discounts on their orders and charitable giving to veterans’ causes.
