Restaurateur announces two new concepts joining the lineup: Uptown & Humboldt and Eiskaffee Coffee + Ice Cream

Troy Guard’s new food hall in Denver, Grange Hall, which will open later this year, has announced two new additions: Uptown & Humboldt and Eiskaffee Coffee + Ice Cream.

Uptown & Humboldt is a popular food truck in the Denver area that was started in January 2020 by Chef Gio Diaz and partner Hayden Hess. The menu features Mediterranean specialties including gyros and more eclectic fare inspired by their travels around the world.

“We are honored and privileged to have Uptown & Humboldt in Grange Hall,” Diaz said in a statement. “We are very excited that everyone can try ‘A Taste of Our Travels.’ We hope to inspire not only a culinary experience, but a need for travel and wander.”

Eiskaffee is a German coffee and ice cream concept also local to the Denver area. Founded by Erika Thomas and Chad Stutz, who also own Denver’s High Point Creamery, the menu will feature eiskaffees (cold brew coffee topped with vanilla ice cream, grated chocolate and whipped cream), High Point Creamery homemade ice cream, coffee and pastries.

“We’re so excited to be sharing our new concept Eiskaffee with south Denver! Grange Hall is a fabulous location and it’s been wonderful to see the revitalization of the area,” Thomas said in a statement.

The 13,000-square-foot space in the Denver Technological Center will be anchored by Little Dry Creek Brewery, a cocktail bar helmed by Guard’s restaurant group TRG and its beverage director Nikki Guard.

There will be a pop-up space for emerging brands, a burger concept, chicken, pizza and more in the rotating space. A new location of Guard’s Bubu will also occupy the food hall. The Crack Shack, a Nation’s Restaurant News 2019 Hot Concept, will also be making its Denver debut at the food hall when it opens.
