Participating Restaurant: Verde On The Go
About Verde on the Go: “Green is our favorite color—and not just because of our name. We're dedicated to being green inside and out by making it easy for you to experience the benefits of eating, going, and being green. To us, eating green signifies making healthy food choices. Since the beginning, creating menu items packed with whole, nutrient-dense foods that both satisfy taste buds and satiate hunger has been our priority. The only preservative we use is our refrigerator and the only bag you'll see is for your to-go order.
We care about the environment, which is why we've made the choice to go green by serving our fresh salads in compostable containers, recycling everything we can, using bicycles to make deliveries when possible, and doing our best to source ingredients locally to reduce our carbon footprint. At Verde, being green means giving back to the local community. Just like planting a garden for future generations, we do what we can to support the people and initiatives making a difference in our local community. From donating food to volunteering at local organizations, we're dedicated to making sure tomorrow is brighter and greener for all. Verde is also locally owned, operated and staffed.
Our newest venture, Verde On The Go, features many of the same fresh flavors you know and love from the original Verde restaurants with the added benefit of being the perfect solution to fresh eating fast. From Grab and Go salads to quick service Create Your Own bowls, your house-made dressing will come on the side ready for you to shake it 'till you make it so you can grab your greens and get on with your day!
Find Verde On The Go at the MUSC Main Hospital Cafeteria Mondays through Fridays from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.”
