An old go-to marketing strategy sees a resurgence at restaurants

 

In September 2020, McDonald’s announced its first celebrity-branded meal since 1992, and in the two and a half years since, the quick-service restaurant chain has had four more such collaborations.

McDonald’s is far from the only chain working with celebrities and influencers right now. Others include KFC, which is working with Jack Harlow; Chili's, which is working with Brian McKnight; and Jersey Mike's, which is working with Danny DeVito.
