City Barbeque broadens executive team

Ohio-based barbecue chain appoints Diane Reed as CFO, Judy Kadylak as CMO

Diane-Reed_City-Barbeque_CFO.pngCity Barbeque, a 43-unit chain based in Dublin, Ohio, has expanded its executive team with a new chief financial officer and chief marketing officer.

Diane Reed (left) succeeds Jim O’Connor as CFO. Reed most recently was financial chief at Bravo Brio Restaurant Group, and before that she was executive vice president for finance at Frisch’s.

Judy-Kadylak_City-Barbeque-CMO.pngJudy Kadylak (left) is the chain’s first CMO. Previously she was senior vice president for marketing at Steak ‘n Shake, and before that was vice president of marketing and culinary at Bruegger’s Bagels. She also was a regional marketing director for Chipotle Mexican Grill.

The chain appointed a new president and chief operating officer, Mike Muldoon, earlier this year.

“Diane and Judy bring a wealth of expertise to the team, and more importantly, they both really understand our purpose of serving and creating happiness,” said Rick Malir, City Barbeque founder and CEO, in a statement. “We’re confident they’re the perfect fit to lead their respective teams and are excited to welcome them on board.”

City Barbeque has operations in Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina and Ohio.
