Buffalo Wild Wings renews with POS provider

News

MINNEAPOLIS Buffalo Wild Wings Inc., operator of 145 casual-dining restaurants and franchisor of more than 300 others, has renewed for five years its contract with point-of-sale-system vendor Hospitality Solutions International related to company-owned stores.

The renewal agreement covers the Microsoft Windows-based Profit Series POS system and centralized Enterprise Menu Management product provided to Buffalo Wild Wings by Scottsdale, Ariz.-based HSI. Franchisees of the chain have the option of using HSI technology at the price negotiated by the parent, according to a representative of the vendor, which is a division of Micros Systems Inc.

Jason Mauric, Buffalo Wild Wings' director of store systems, said HSI's "level of service and support" contributed to his company's decision to renew the agreement. "With HSI," he said, "issues are addressed quickly and resolved in a timely fashion."
