McDonald’s lead in customer frequency weakens in July

Find out how limited-service chains rank in terms of customer frequency

McDonald’s led the limited-service segment in customer frequency in July, but the burger giant slightly lost its edge compared with the previous month, according to data collected from data insights firm Sense360.

Customers visited the Oak Brook, Ill.-based operator’s restaurants an average 2.2 times in July, a decrease from 2.3 times in June.

The data table below ranks the top 50 limited-service chains by average customer visit. The Sense360 data looks at 2.6 million customers who downloaded one of 100 different mobile applications.

This ranking does not include chains whose primary business is done via delivery.
