Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

Known for its trademark “YUMMM” used in advertising, casual-dining restaurant chain Red Robin was founded in 1969 as a tavern in Seattle. Over the next decade, the concept evolved into a casual dining burger joint and launched franchising. The chain moved to the Denver area in 2000 and the company went public in 2002. In 2016, the chain added “and Brews” to its name to emphasize a significant expansion of its beer offerings.

Red Robin recently rolled out a partnership with Donatos Pizza, and by 2023 will offer pizza at all company owned Red Robin locations. Red Robin is also experimenting with several virtual brands, including Sammy’s Chicken, The Wings Dept. and Fresh Set.
