The Cheesecake Factory

The Cheesecake Factory is a casual-dining restaurant brand known for the extensive and voluminous menu that features American and other classics as well as the brand’s signature cheesecakes.

The Calabasas Hills, Calif.-based company also owns the Grand Lux Café and other brands.

After making a minority investment in the Phoenix-based Fox Restaurant Concepts in 2016, Cheesecake Factory Inc. acquired the longtime incubator in 2019 in a deal valued at $353 million. Fox Restaurant Concepts created the North Italia casual-dining concept as well as the fast-casual Flower Child.

Cheesecake Factory in early 2021 owned and operated 298 restaurants throughout the United States and Canada under brands including The Cheesecake Factory, North Italia and a collection within the Fox Restaurant Concepts subsidiary. Internationally, 28 Cheesecake Factory restaurants operate under licensing agreements. The company’s bakery division operates two facilities.
