Red Robin names Kristi Belhumeur as new chief accounting officer

Kristi Belhumeur, who served as controller and vice president, starts March 16 for the casual dining brand.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers has named Kristi Belhumeur, 39, as the brand's new Chief Accounting Officer.

She starts March 16. Belhumeur previously served as a controller and vice president since April 2019.

She succeeds Dave Hansen, who was appointed chief accounting officer in November 2018.

Belhumeur joins other new leaders at the top. Earlier this year, COO Guy Constant exited. Michael Buchmeier, chief people officer, took over his job. Constant had served in the role since January 2019. He was terminated without cause by the troubled Greenwood Village, Colo.-based casual-dining brand.

Last fall, turnaround specialist Paul Murphy was installed as CEO to fix the brand. Earlier this year, he revealed a turnaround plan that involves correcting operational missteps of the past, expanding the Donatos Pizza test, downsizing the menu, improving the quality of core items, increasing beverage sales and taking a different approach to delivery.

Red Robin has 556 restaurants in 44 states and Canada.
