Red Robin names Guy Constant CFO

Former Brinker International executive replaces Stuart Brown

Guy Constant, a former Brinker International Inc. executive, has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer of Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc., effective today, the company said Tuesday.

Constant replaces former Red Robin CFO Stuart Brown, who stepped down in July to pursue another opportunity.

“Guy’s finance experience, strategic mindset and results orientation completes our standout Red Robin leadership team as we continue to improve our performance and set Red Robin up to serve generations of guests to come,” said Denny Marie Post, CEO of Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc. “Throughout his career, Guy has developed and driven high-performance teams. We’re pumped to have him join our organization.

Most recently, Constant was CFO, executive vice president of finance and treasurer for Rent-A-Center Inc. Previously, he served in various executive roles at Brinker International, including as executive vice president and CFO, president of the Chili’s Global Restaurant Division, and as senior vice president and vice president of finance, and senior director of executive compensation.

Before that, he worked in marketing, finance and human resources for AMR Corp., the parent company of American Airlines.

Greenwood Village, Colo.-based Red Robin operates and franchises about 540 restaurants under the Red Robin Gourmet Burger and Brews and Red Robin Express brands.
