EMERYVILLE, Calif. -- Jamba Juice, the 733-unit smoothie chain, has entered into two new licensing agreement with OregonIce Cream and Think Wow Toys. Jamba and Eugene, Ore.-based Oregon Ice Cream will introduce a line of frozen novelties, while the chain will team with Think Wow Toys in New York to develop a Jamba-branded blender that will allow kids to make their own smoothies at home. SEMINOLE, Fla. -- Superior Uniform Group Inc., based here, said it has launched an eco-friendly employee apparel program for Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises' Big Bowl Restaurants chain. The uniforms, which will be worn by the Chicago-based brand's 400 employees, includes server shirts and chef pants made from recycled plastic spun into a soft and durable fabric.

ATLANTA -- Coca-Cola North America has kicked off its Foodservice Environmental Program, which has been designed to provide tools and advice to foodservice operators who want to go "green" while saving money. Coca-Cola partnered with the Ecos Business Solutions division and Green Marketing Team for the program to help operators employ and improve sustainable business practices.

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation has honored Robert E. Rich Jr., chairman of Rich Products Corp. with the 2009 Thad and Alice Eure Ambassador of Hospitality Award. The award is presented to an individual who is a member of the NRAEF College of Diplomats and who is acknowledged as being an outstanding leader in the foodservice industry. VERNON HILLS, Ill. -- The sale of the Enodis global ice machine business to affiliates of private-equity firm Warbug Pincus from the Manitowoc Co. has been completed. The new entity will operate under the name Scotsman Industries Inc. Its brands include Scotsman, Ice-O-Matic, Simag, Barline, Icematic, Tecnomac and Oref.

DAYTON, Ohio -- NCR Corp., the global technology company based here, has named Tushar Kothari vice president of Worldwide Channels and appointed Juliann Larimer to the newly created post of vice president of North American Channels. Kothari most recently was senior vice president of worldwide field operations for Meru Networks. Larimer was vice president of North America Channel Sales and Marketing at Zebra Technologies.

BIRMINGHAM, Ohio -- Bettcher Industries Inc., a manufacturer of foodservice equipment, has acquired the assets of Reece Manufacturing Co. Inc. Based in Louisville, Ky., Reece makes breading tables and sifters used in quick-service restaurants.
