NEWARK DEL. —The University of Delaware’s Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management will host the Darden Restaurants Foundation entrepreneurship summit for students March 3-4 at the Courtyard Marriott hotel on campus here.
The two-day event, funded by a $100,000 grant from the Darden Foundation, is intended to interest minority students in establishing businesses or becoming franchisees in the hospitality and tourism industries.
