Toppers Pizza adds online ordering

WHITEWATER Wis. Within days of adding online ordering supported by ONOSYS, the 20-plus-unit Toppers Pizza chain, based here, said it was processing a significant number of transactions through the new channel, while the vendor indicated that average tickets were up, as well.

"Since we launched with ONOSYS two weeks ago, we've already seen 5 percent of our orders come through online. We expect this number to grow even more, and we're glad to be working with a company dedicated to our success," Scott Iversen, Toppers director of advertising and franchise development, said of the software and services of Cleveland-based ONOSYS.

Toppers Pizza integrates the Web-based tools from ONOSYS with the chain's Vision brand point-of-sale system from Intura Solutions LP of Arlington, Texas, via Intura's remote order interface. An ONOSYS source said Toppers' average ticket increased 21 percent within two weeks of adding online ordering capabilities.
