DENVER Spicy Pickle, the 34-unit fast-casual sandwich chain based here, plans to drive sales with a new catering program that features a menu of six grilled panini sandwiches and seven different subs.
To promote the program, store managers can choose to offer up to 150 free catered events for up to 12 people.
Research by Spicy Pickle revealed that catering could boost store revenue by 10 percent to 30 percent, said Tony Walker, the company’s chief operating officer.
Boxed lunches, party trays or full buffets are available through the catering program, officials said.
