Scottish whisky exports see tremendous growth in 2007


EDINBURGH Scotland Exports of Scottish whisky were up all around the world in 2007, making the year a anner one for the industry, according to the Scotch Whisky Association, based here. In fact, export sales were so successful, the organization estimates the United Kingdom added £90 to its balance of trade every second of 2007, all as a result of whisky exports.
