ATLANTA Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, a 1,905-unit fast-food chicken chain, introduced wings to its menu Monday with a photo contest for customers.
The wings, which are marinated for 12 hours in a blend of Louisiana seasonings, come with a ranch dipping sauce and are available in three sizes: five, 10 and 20 pieces. Popeyes said the wings are available at participating stores until Oct. 12, the same time the contest ends.
The contest invites customers to take creative photos that feature Popeyes' new wings and submit the pictures online. The grand-prize winner will receive a trip for two to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Four runners up will receive $100 Popeyes gift cards. In addition, anyone who casts a vote online for the contest’s winners will be eligible to participate in a sweepstakes for a $100 gift card prize.
Popeyes is owned by Atlanta-based AFC Enterprises Inc.
