LOUISVILLE Ky. Papa John’s International Inc. has rolled out six new specialty pizzas as it seeks a competitive edge over its rivals during football season, traditionally one of the busiest times for the pizza segment.
The new pizzas include the Papa’s White Pizza, a blend of ricotta cheese sauce and garlic Parmesan sauce, topped with mozzarella cheese; Sicilian Classic, which combines Italian salami, Italian ham, pepperoni and spicy Italian sausage; Italian Meats Trio, which includes spicy Italian sausage, Italian ham, Italian salami, three cheeses and Italian herb seasonings; Spinach Alfredo Chicken Tomato, a blend of spinach and garlic Parmesan Alfredo sauce, grilled chicken and Roma tomatoes on original crust; Smokehouse Bacon & Ham, which contains hickory-smoked bacon and ham, sliced onions and green peppers; and Chicken Bacon Ranch, which includes garlic ranch sauce, grilled chicken, bacon, onions and Roma tomatoes.
With the addition of the new pizzas, Papa John’s, which has more than 2,700 U.S. units, now offers 14 specialty pizzas. For a limited time, all specialty pizza will be priced at $12.99 for a large pie, Papa John's said.
