Metromedia starts agency review for Ponderosa, Bonanza

PLANO Texas Metromedia Restaurant Group has launched an agency review of the $8 million account for its 340-plus Ponderosa Steakhouse and Bonanza Steakhouse concepts.

The account budget includes creative and media duties for TV, radio, print, e-mail, direct mail, outdoor and interactive. Tracy Locke of Dallas has held the account for more than three years.

Metromedia recently named Robert Hoffman president of Ponderosa and Bonanza. He replaced Gary Schneider, who left to pursue other opportunities, the company said.

In addition to Ponderosa and Bonanza, Metromedia’s brands include Bennigan’s Grill & Tavern, Steak and Ale and The Plano Tavern.
