Lexington, Ky., operators to post color-coded health dept. scores

LEXINGTON Ky. Restaurant owners here and in the surrounding county will be required to post their most recent local health department scores prominently in their restaurants, starting May 14. The new policy, which the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department passed April 14, will issue reports of scores 85 and higher in large, green numbers, and scores of 84 or below, often indicating critical violations, in red.
