CARPINTERIA Calif. Hardee’s on Monday rolled out a new line of Texas Toast Breakfast Sandwiches featuring grilled bread cut at double the thickness of regular bread.
The slabs of buttered Texas toast bread are piled with eggs, American cheese and a choice of sausage, bacon or ham for a recommended $1.99, or $3.69 as part of a combo meal featuring Country Potatoes and a beverage.
The 1,912 Hardee’s chain is operated and franchised by CKE Restaurants Inc., which also is parent to the 1,185-unit Carl’s Jr. brand.
