MINNEAPOLIS Graves World Hospitality, based here, a contract provider of management services to independent hotel and resort owners, is using Newmarket International Inc.'s Delphi.Net hosted sales-and-catering software at smaller properties, GWH sources indicated.
Scott Fischburg, GWH vice president of sales and marketing, said his company uses Newmarket's stand-alone Delphi software at its large properties but saw Delphi.Net as an attractive alternative for smaller, limited-service properties. Using the hosted, subscription-based Delphi.Net "we could have one central, common contract and sales management [system] without investing in more hardware," he said.
Sources at Portsmouth, N.H.-based Newmarket said Delphi.Net software automates the group business process, consolidates account management and provides access to inventory and availability information and recently benefited from improvements to its navigation features, banquet event order functions and productivity tools. Newmarket's technology supports the extraction of data from both Delphi and Delphi.net to a common business intelligence data warehouse for the purposes of systemwide analysis and reporting, they said.
