CANTON Mass. Franchisor Dunkin' Brands Inc., based here, for its Dunkin' Donuts chain has named Radiant Systems Inc. the exclusive provider of hardware and software for point-of-sale, order confirmation and kitchen display technology, the supplier said.
Radiant, of Alpharetta, Ga., for the past three years served as one of two approved POS technology vendors for the Dunkin' Donuts domestic system, comprised entirely of franchised stores. Recently Radiant was named the exclusive provider of those technologies going forward, according to sources at the firm, which already has its products in more than 1,000 of Dunkin's approximately 5,400 U.S. locations.
The technology components offered by Radiant are fully integrated, the vendor said, and they are expected to help Dunkin' meet its goals of improving speed of service and order accuracy while providing heightened visibility into store performance.
