Dunkin’ Donuts debuts tuna, chicken sandwiches

CANTON Mass. Dunkin’ Donuts has added three new chicken and tuna sandwiches to its menu line at participating stores in several northeastern markets, it said Monday.

The sandwiches, which will be available at stores in New England, excluding Boston and Springfield, Mass., and in Upstate New York, will be available on croissants and in wraps. The new flavors include the Original Chicken Sandwich, featuring seasoned chicken with ranch sauce and melted Monterey Jack cheese; and the Bacon Jack Chicken Sandwich, with strips of bacon. The wraps are priced between $1.49 and $1.79 each and the croissant sandwiches are priced between $2.49 and $2.99.

The tuna sandwich, which is served with or without cheese on an oven-toasted bagel, is priced at a suggested $2.99.

The sandwiches are the latest additions to Dunkin’s current line of oven-toasted sandwiches, which include such varieties as Chicken Parmesan, Ham and Swiss, Turkey Cheddar and Bacon, and Grilled Cheese.

Dunkin’ Donuts, a chain franchised by Canton, Mass.-based Dunkin’ Brands, currently has about 8,800 restaurants in 31 countries worldwide. Dunkin’ Brands also operates the Baskin-Robbins ice-cream chain.
