LAKE FOREST Calif. Tom Johnson has been named director of consumer insights for the 510-unit Del Taco quick-service chain, officials said Wednesday.
In the newly created position, Johnson will be responsible for developing and executing research plans, tools and processes for business growth. He reports to Peter Honer, vice president of business insights and planning.
"Tom adds a strong research and analytical depth to our insights team, which is working to help Del Taco build an even greater connection with customers," Honer said.
Previously, Johnson spent 10 years with Lieberman Research Worldwide, which conducted research for the quick-service segment and other clients.
