LEBANON Tenn. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. plans to eliminate artificial trans fats from all of its menu items by the middle of next year.
The family-dining chain which operates 558 company-owned locations in 41 states, has been reviewing and testing recipes and actively working with its suppliers since late last year to make changes in line of comfort foods, including meatloaf and chicken dumplings and biscuits.
