GOLDEN Colo. Boston Market, a fast-casual concept that has specialized in rotisserie chicken for nearly 24 years, said Thursday that it is spreading its wings with the introduction of new crispy chicken items to its menu.
The Crispy Country Chicken meal is a breaded and baked chicken breast that is topped with a creamy gravy and served with cornbread and a choice of two side dishes for $7.29.
The Crispy Country Chicken sandwich comes with a creamy Dijon spread, lettuce and tomatoes on whole-grain bread or a white baguette and is priced at $6.49. The crispy chicken can also be sliced and added to a Caesar or chopped salad.
The new items will be available for both lunch and dinner.
Anational advertising campaign featuring the chicken dishes will debut the first week of March. The radio, TV, outdoor and online campaign, created by Boston Market’s new ad agency, Fallon, will have a “country-flair,” according to the company.
“We are extremely excited to introduce Crispy Country Chicken to our menu,” said Judy Cantrell, Boston Market’s chief brand officer. “We believe this new menu item provides a taste alternative to our signature rotisserie chicken, but our guests will taste the quality of the 100-percent white meat chicken breast.”
Golden-based Boston Market has 530 units.
