NEW YORK Secret Weapon Marketing’s campaign for Jack in the Box was among the top winners at the 40th annual Effie Awards Gala here on June 4.

One of the top-five scoring campaigns considered for the coveted Grand Effie, the agency’s “Sirloin vs. Angus” campaign also won a Gold Effie in the Fast Food/Casual Dining/Restaurants category. Horizon Media Inc. was the media partner on the campaign.

DDB Seattle and OMD Seattle won a Gold Effie for the McDonald’s USA, LLC-Northwest Region “Piping Cold” campaign in the David vs. Goliath category and a Silver Effie in the Fast Food/Casual Dining/Restaurants category.

Domino’s Pizza and JWT won a Bronze Effie for “The Anything Goes Deal” campaign. Agency partners included MindShare and Momentum Worldwide.

 

 

Olive Garden and Grey Worldwide won a Bronze Effie for the “Hospitaliano” campaign in the Sustained Success category. Agency partners included MediaCom and GroupM.

Effie Award winners are judged on the following criteria: 70 percent for the strategic challenge, the idea and how the idea is brought to life, and 30 percent for the campaign’s results.
