PHILADELPHIA Aramark Corp., the on-site foodservice and facilities management concern, said Thursday it would begin purchasing sustainable seafood for all of its U.S. accounts and expects to complete the transition by 2018.
Aramark will work with the Monterey Bay Aquarium on the new program, it said. The aquarium will provide information on what sustainable seafood is available in the market, offer advice on how to find sustainable seafood sources and help educate Aramark employees on the subject of sustainability.
