Alamo Drafthouse names new division president, CDO

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema has promoted Craig Paschich to divisional president and Tim Reed to chief development officer.

Austin-based Alamo Drafthouse, which has 13 cinema–eatery locations in Texas and Virginia, promoted Paschich from the chief development officer position to the new post. He will oversee daily operations and recruitment of franchise partners. He has been with Alamo since February 2008 and also served as chief operations officer.

Reed will succeed Paschich as chief development officer and will oversee exhibition aspects of business. Reed will also become a member of Alamo’s board of directors, the company said. Reed joined Alamo in October 2010 as senior vice president of real estate.

Alamo Drafthouse said in a statement that it is looking at new markets, such as a recently secured location in Denver.

The company also owns the Drafthouse Films distribution label, Fantastic Fest film festivals and Mondo art boutique.
