Papa John’s sees a more digital future

Company expects digital orders to reach 80 percent in several years

Papa John’s International Inc. now receives more than six in 10 orders from one of its digital platforms, mostly from its mobile ordering app. But executives expect that number to keep growing.

Many Papa John’s markets receive more than 70 percent of orders via digital, executives of the Louisville, Ky.-based pizza chain said on a first-quarter earnings call Wednesday.
