Inside Peet’s new ‘slow bar’ in Georgetown

Peet’s Coffee, the 400-unit Emeryville, Calif.-based division of JAB Holdings Co., has debuted its first slow-brew coffee bar in a new outlet in the historic Georgetown neighborhood in the District of Columbia.

The Slow Bar allows patrons to select from a variety of beans and brewing methods—such as pour over, siphon and press pot.
