Villa Enterprises to manage food court at Sands Casino Resort in Pa.

MORRISTOWN N.J. Villa Enterprises took over the management of the food court at Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem in Bethlehem, Pa., which opened this spring, and they said they plan to open five of Villa’s restaurant concepts beginning next year in the 5,770-square-foot space.

The new outlets will be Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen, Green Leaf’s, Banana’s, South Philly Steak & Fries and Casa Java. They said they will keep an existing sushi concept.

“We are pleased Las Vegas Sands Corp. has selected Villa Enterprises to operate and manage the expansive food court,” said Anthony Scotto, Villa Enterprises CEO. “With more than four decades worth of experience in the quick-service restaurant environment and proven operational expertise within high-volume, high-traffic destinations, our partnership with Sands Resort Casino Bethlehem is a prudent move for both companies.”

Villa Enterprises operates more than 300 locations in 38 states and six countries. Founded in 1964 with a small pizzeria next to the Ed Sullivan Theater in Manhattan, Villa Enterprises also operates several upscale, full-service restaurants in the New York City area.

Besides the food court, Sands includes an Emeril’s Chop House, Burgers and More, by Emeril and a Carnegie Deli. The casino complex is located about 60 minutes from Philadelphia and 60 minutes from New York.
