Pei Wei adds Vietnamese Caramel Chicken

SCOTTSDALE Ariz. Pei Wei Asian Diner, the 167-unit fast-casual division of P.F. Chang’s China Bistro Inc., is introducing its new Vietnamese Caramel Chicken entree on Friday by giving diners a voucher to try the dish free Feb. 1-7.

The new entree, priced between $7.75 and $7.95 depending on the market, features wok-tossed chicken and pineapple in a caramel-chile sauce. It will be topped with an Asian slaw of cucumber, red bell pepper, carrots, red onion and Fresno chile peppers marinated in a black pepper vinaigrette.

Staffs will decorate Pei Wei units Feb. 1-7 to celebrate the Vietnamese Lantern Festival.

Pei Wei has units in 22 states.
